Not only can you set it to do this when a failure occurs but also if it reaches a specific quota, when a service, such as logging, turns off or when a user has reached their quota of failed log ons.

All these functions allow you to develop the system to flag suspicious activity as well as the original requirement of system availability.

As this solution is based on an Open Source application it is compatible with most of the mainstream servers and appliances you will have in your network.
